Annual Christmas Tree Festival 2017

Christmas Tree

Our annual Christmas Tree Festival takes place this year on Saturday 25th (10am – 5pm) and Sunday 26th November (12noon – 5pm). This will be followed by an all age short service ‘Looking forward to Christmas’. As before, the church will be open for setting up the day before (i.e. Friday 24th). Entry to the exhibition is free although we do appreciate donations! Last year we had around 45 entries and more than 2,000 people enjoyed the spectacular display over the two days it was open.

If you would like to take part in this year’s event, now is the time to register your interest. It costs nothing to enter and trees can be any size or colour and power can be provided if you need it for lighting. We welcome entries from individuals or groups and they can be decorated in a style or theme of your choice – the only limit is your imagination. See the photos below of last year’s entries for inspiration!

The application form is attached or they are available from Elaine Hodges (0116 240 2717), Penny Russell (0116 240 2728), St Nicholas Church or the Church Hall in Fleckney.
